It’s profile resembles an elephant head and trunk. This new LEGO version is about one of the best I’ve built. To date, I’ve built the Jango Fett blue and white version (7153), and the second update of Boba’s version (8097), and now the 20th Anniversary (75243). Perhaps like none of the other 20th Anniversary Edition releases, 75243 Slave I – 20th Anniversary Edition takes a familiar build and elevates it to a new level of design. This fifth System-scale version of Slave I is not only a credible upgrade to what has come before for Boba Fett, but a notable step up in design ingenuity across the LEGO Jango Fetts Slave 1 This is a re-skin of 75243 with some additional tiles added to cover up the studs. I did end up having to create some stickers to cover the new 3x3 Wedge slope piece since it only is offered in gray and dark red. I'm hoping the make it dark blue in the future. Also, the holes in the older ones are circular vs the more oval holes in the pieces provided in the set. Seems that an incompatible brick redesign is highly likely. On a positive note, the pegs on the pieces in the Slave 1 set seem significantly more sturdy due to their thicker walls. I think you are correct, sadly.
